Nestled in the heart of Gosford, Australia, our proposal seeks to define contemporary urban living in a quiet coastal environment. In response to the unique interplay between the hillside, the ocean surrounds, and the ever-evolving needs of the community, we present a vision that harmonises nature, functionality, and modern aesthetics. Comprising five residential towers atop a podium plinth, this design encapsulates a deliberate fusion of contextual integration, sustainable living practices, community engagement, and thoughtful architectural expression. With a focus on practicality and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents, our architectural concept aims to create not just structures but a living environment that resonates with the Gosford community.
Situated amidst the picturesque landscape of Gosford, our approach strives for seamless contextual integration. The placement of five residential towers atop a podium reflects a meticulous understanding of the surrounding environment that considers solar orientation while maintaining views and vistas to the hillside. By embracing the undulating hills and oceanic backdrop, the design ensures that the structures not only coexist but harmonise with the natural elements, creating an inviting and visually appealing living experience.

At the core of our design philosophy lies a commitment to sustainable living. The green-activated rooftop on the podium and the use of an eco-friendly approach for the towers embody this ethos. Native vegetation not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also contributes to environmental sustainability. The choice of materials, such as glass, steel, and concrete, reflects a balance between buildability, durability, and a contemporary eco-conscious aesthetic, aligning with our dedication to responsible urban development.
The podium – a central feature of our design, is strategically designed for community engagement. By offering commercial activation at ground level, we aim to create a vibrant and inclusive community hub. Retail spaces on the ground floor provide amenity for residents and the broader community while contributing to the overall vitality of street life. Meanwhile, the green rooftop becomes a shared space for residents, fostering a sense of community and promoting social interactions.
Our design takes cues from modernist principles, offering a pragmatic and timeless architectural expression. The grid on the tower facades, with its modern and clear articulation, serves a functional purpose. The variation in grid types adds depth and visual interest, breaking down the scale of the towers and contributing to a dynamic play of light and shadow. This architectural expression not only meets the demands of contemporary living but also presents itself as a mini metropolis, a unique offer that differs from surrounding developments.
